Bovet Pininfarina Chronograph Cambiano Watch
Bovet timepieces has a strong relationship with Italian designer Pininfarina. Last year they surprised us with a watch based on that partnership that was an impressive combination of complications and modern design in a watch that still adhered to tradition. Those who don’t get to listen to watch maker rhetoric often may not be quite as aware of the strong role that “tradition” plays in Swiss watch making. It is the concept that there are certain rules of watch making and design that really can’t be neglected or left out. P.S. This watch costs $20,000

‘Fire with Fire’ video installation
“The video installation Fire with Fire (video projection of 15 minutes playing in continuous loop) recalls this troubled period of Vancouver’s history. It also alludes to the neighbourhood’s present conditions by reminding us that many lives have been consumed there, worn down by years of homelessness, drug use, street prostitution, and violence.”

Air Jordan 2011
His Airness may have made his last flight in 2003, but his iconic sneaker is far from done. The Air Jordan 2011 ($170) continues the tradition with a white-and-black design that recalls the XI model from the ’90s, but with handcrafted Patina leather taking the place of the glossy patent black. The 26th edition of the Air Jordan series, each shoe is finished with a hand burnishing process that leaves no two shoes alike, and in another first, they sport interchangeable red and blue midsoles that let you customize their feel to match your game — whether it’s on the court or on the town.

All the elements war joined perfectly (check out the photos for amazing details), so much so that up to three people of 70 kilos each can sit together on the sofa without it being caused any damage. Moreover, the unusual looking furniture piece can be easily transformed into a chair and then back again by expanding (pulling) and contracting (pushing) the structure.
