For some reason I always get a thrill unpacking new gizmos, and the Ceiva Pro80 was no let down.

The outside of the box is fairly minimal expect for the two giant logos in the front. Its your typical white box with the companies logo and a giant sticker at the bottom left corner to tell you the product that is inside. Good thing that they only sell the Ceiva with this type of packaging online because if I saw this at a store, the box would have me confused.
When you open up the box the first thing that you see is one of Ceiva’s picture frame skins. This particular skin has a wood like appearance that would fit the decor of many homes. The default skin that the Ceiva Pro 80 comes with is one that features a glossy black finish. The great thing about this frame is that you can order custom skins from Ceiva so that your frame can match any decor.

1 Year Picture Plan:
Every Ceiva comes with an automatic 1 year picture plan (starting at $6.95 a month). The picture plan is the heart of the Ceiva Pro80. Some features that the picture plan gives you are:

- Send photos, cards and greetings to arrive on any day you choose
- Add weather, news, sports, horoscopes and dozens of other Channels™ for daily delivery

The Ceiva Pro80 was designed around connectivity. This frame will read from a memory card but it can also connect to your home network so that you can send pictures directly from your computer to the beautiful frame. Inside the box it comes with everything that you need to get connected. The Cieva Pro80 can connect to your home network via the included wireless adapter. It can also go online with the included phone line cable. Since you can store limitless photos online with the Ceiva Picture plan, the Ceiva Pro80 will check online for any new images/content.
I love my iPhone and it was a thrill to know that Ceiva has an app for it. The Ceiva iPhone app lets me upload pictures from my iPhone directly to my Ceiva picture frame. So no matter where I am, as long as I have 3G or wifi, I can send a picture back home to let my parents see what I’m up to.
My mother also has an iPhone and for her using the Ceiva iPhone app is a breeze. The interface is nicely designed and straight forward so that anyone can use it.

I’d like it, just to make our home better. With pictures…(: (for example from Dizorb)
Not so much my family, but for my room mate. He’s quite depressed at the moment after having a really rough start to the year. Loss in the family and some other health and money related issues.
If I were to win this id set it up with some funny comics and motivational images and have is displayed in out living room in the hope that they will brighten up his day.
Why do I believe my family needs this? I won’t bother with some story to gain your sympathy. The truth is I’m tired of constantly uploading hundreds of photos from my parents cameras for them, and then they never look at them again. I believe my family needs this so I can stop tearing my hair out everytime they ask me to upload their photos!
I would be interested! Well, I don’t have the best camera in the world but I take pictures quite often. I would probably upload pictures and whatnot and keep it in the living room for viewing pleasures.
Mandatory Entry: i would use this to capture stunning images!

I’d have this in the living room cycling through family pictures and wallpapers I’ve downloaded from Dizorb of course
I started to study this semester. My family lives about 450 kilometers away.
I would love to have the possibility the share photos with them that I took with my DSLR. What a great invention!!!
Cool giveaway, I’ve not heard of these before.
I’d definitely use it to display Caribbean vacation pictures, especially in the depths of winter here in the upper midwest.
I have 20+ years not seeing my family and friends from Venezuela other than using facebook, just love the idea of displaying my photos on a more private setting on a regular basis as well as the possibility of my family and friends to send me pics to keep me updated, and to have the weather and calendar display is a PLUS!!!!
Ceiva is the best invention for older people that are afraid of technology. My mom’s machine recently broke after 6 years, and it would be awesome to upgrade. Love Ceiva and their customer service is the best!
I love to upload pictures to this and keep it in the living room for everyone to see. Love showing off my family and friends.
I would give the Ceiva Pro80 picture frame to a friend that is not that comfortable with technology. She loves to take pictures and has a great camera but usually views them once when I download them for her. She could receive pictures from her family and have unlimited storage too.
We just moved into our new apartment, with our newborn baby. We are in the process of shopping, and getting things. And there is a perfect place next to the cradle, where we think this would complete the feng shui. And we read somewhere that pictures and interactive surroundings can stimulate baby’s thinking.
My dog has been diagnosed with advanced liver cancer. Its been a rough couple of days for me and my family.
I would put this in the family room so when the time comes to let him go. I would put all of the pictures of him and my previous dogs on the device to bring a smile to my whole family, as well as the pictures of the dogs we have and love so much now.
And of course me and my dad LOVE taking pictures of everywhere we go and this would be a great conversation piece when family visits.
I would love this for my whole family, being that we are a family big in to photography being that my father and myself are very into photography and being that my mother has a scrap booking business, this would be a great thing to have around the house! It would also be great to have to show off pictures when friends and family come to the house.
I just don’t want it. I need it. 2 years ago when we were surprised by the typhoon Frank in iloilo, philippines, pictures of our family were all wet, muddy, and we couldn’t do anything but dispose it. Those pictures were taken during the time of my grandfather way back decades ago, of the life of my parents and how they cherish each momemnt and stood up on the altar and also of my siblings whom I can’t see right now. And so I think if I had this with a usb, I can make software copy of a memorable photo from me. And frankly speaking, we are poor just to afford this one. :c
I would love to have this Cieva Pro80. Because my family is a military family, we move every 3 years(at the max). We either don’t have the time, aren’t allowed to (building restrictions), or won’t be stationed there long enough to actually hang our own picture. The Cieva would be the easiest way to share our pictures with friends and family visiting.
I WOULD HANG IT MY WALL THAT FACES MY FRONT DOOR. THEN, WHEN VISITORS COME IN FOR HOUSE PARTIES AND DINNERS, THEY WILL SEE THESE AWESOME PICTURES. BEING AMAZED, MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND GUESTS WOULD PROBABLY GET ONE TOO LOL.
I would be interested! Well, I don’t have the best camera in the world but I take pictures quite often. I would probably upload pictures and whatnot and keep it in the living room for viewing pleasures.
It’ll be great for putting the best nature wallpapers found. Which i LOVE to see time to time.
Coming from a big family we take lots of photos. And specially now my little brother graduated and it summer here (in the Philippines) we’ve been taking a lot of pictures. And what do we do? Store in in the computer! Sometimes we print some out out and make photo albums to be again stored in cabinets to gather dust. What I realized just now is that our house lacks photo displays (to be honest we have no family picture hanged only a picture of my parents wedding and my sister’s graduation pc) It would be very awesome if I win. I could never afford one of those. So if I win I would display it in our living room.
