I was standing there next to the bridge like the guy on the image and had a vision of how it will look like. So I took a photo of the bridge to have a base. Rest is done in Photoshop. The story: an exiled man is looking at his former hometown planning his revenge.

This wallpaper add the idea to my head of someone who helps everyone yet is exiled when he’s needed most. So he watches the world drown, suffer in it’s incompetent struggle to become something more.
I know nothing “bad” is being portrayed within the picture, but the rise of man kind in itself seems as if it would be rather corrupted. Eh.. too vivid of an idea.
Anyway, I love the wallpaper; Thanks yet again for something beyond rapture.

I love the designs and quality of the wallpapers on your site and have spent many happy hours lurking silently. Until now. This wallpaper, for some inexplicable reason, just grabbed me. Maybe it’s the untold story, or the hint at exile and rejection, even something ominous. Or just great sadness? Or maybe I’m just a geek and that robed figure reminds me of Star Wars – and any image with a Jedi in it is awesome!
